Summary: The focal point of the Charity is Mariners’ Park in Wallasey. The 16 acre parkland site overlooks the River Mersey. Here the Charity has 125 houses for rent, including a 40 place extra care apartment scheme. The 32 place Mariners’ Park Care Home is on the same site. Promoting retired mariners well-being is a key activity and on site there is a Hobbies Room, Games Room, Gym, Hair Salon and Café for residents to use. Residents can also benefit from the Mariners’ Park Home Care Service which can provide personal care and practical support.
The Charity also provides one off grants for essential items and household repairs.
